Google the word Beantown and everything about Boston comes up on your screen. Food, Fenway, fashion and everything in between can be found in this historic and foot traffic friendly capitol. But why beans? And how come you never hear anybody who lives here, EVER refer to it as such?
Without boring you to pieces with a history lesson, the nickname Beantown was thought to originate with the earliest settlers in Massachusetts. In colonial Plimoth beans were a staple item in the pantry. Beans were always on the menu. Honestly, in my mind, that doesn’t sound very appealing, no pun intended. Needless to say the legume is very healthy for you. The nickname and it’s origins have come around a few times, but it has nevertheless stuck through history, and legend carries on today.
My BostonMints lipgloss color Bean Towne is the color for 2015! Similar to the Pantone color of the year ~ it virtually goes with everything. A gorgeous rich universal hue, you’ll love how full and rich your lips look and feel. Protect, pamper and heal with vitamins C & E and Aloe. Refreshing spearmint keeps your lips and breath cool and minty. Longer lasting than regular lipgloss and made to layer with your other favorite lip colors, you’ll never go wrong!
